Day 4 Jefferson to Deep Gap (17 Miles) | Melissa Kay Thompson | Mountains to Sea Trail (MST)

Bridges and rivers are great ways to connect places and people. We find them everywhere. Bridges build engagement as we cross them, go under them, or wait for draw bridges to open or close. Whatever your mode of transportation, foot, bike, boat, car, truck, bus, or train, let’s keeping using and admiring bridges.

Melissa Kay Thompson is hiking in the MST (Mountains to Sea Trail) in North Carolina and taking amazing photos. It was a challenge to pick three to feature them here. See all of Day 3 photos below. We like the last photo when she shows her food. Keep hiking. 🙂

Important lesson from Melissa:

Finally, making new friends is part of #LongTrails experience.
